1. In Kind hours have been calculated at$11.00 for 2017 and $11.50 for 2018. Labor comes from the sponsoring
All In Stitches Quilt Guild.
2. Press releases will be sent to the Everett Herald, Seattle Times plus other local newspapers, calendars and
bulletin boards online. Last year, Julie Muhlstein of the Herald wrote a feature article about EQS and this was
mentioned by many of our guests.
Marquee at the corner of Broadway and Hewitt in Everett as part of our package. We also expect social media
to help spread the word.
4. KBTC`broadcasting, January-February: one ad each Saturday after one of the quilting programs, March-
April 4 ads each Saturday morning for five weeks before the EQS. A loyal 15 year viewership that extends
from southern BC to just south of the Columbia River..
5. Publications ads in"The Country Register", Quitters'Traveler, Quilt Shop Navigator, Quilt Show News (online)
and more.We have put Everett on the map.
6. Postage costs for mailing to shops and guilds outside our local area.
7. In addition,15,000 cards have been printed,with 2/3 already distributed.We have invited 200 quilt guilds and 80
organizations, including senior centers and retirement complexes plus 128 quilt shops all over Washington and
surrounding areas by mail and in person. Fifty-three of these shops are outside of a 100 mile radius. Locally,
we will put posters with tear-offs on bulletin boards in appropriate stores and gathering spots.
