The City of Everett is invited <br /> to participate in the Diversion Center Program under the conditions set forth in this Intergovernmental <br /> Agreement. There is no fee for the City to use the Diversion Center under the current agreement;however <br /> the City's access to the facility is dependent upon the continued employment and involvement of the police <br /> department's law enforcement embedded social workers,who will serve as case managers for program <br /> participants referred by the City. The City will also be responsible for any incidental items or services <br /> needed during the participant's stay. These costs will be paid for out of the First Responders and Safe Streets <br /> Flex Funds. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Authorize the Mayor to sign the Intergovernmental Agreement for Snohomish County Diversion Center <br /> Participation. <br /> 1 <br />
