Section 2: That the sum of $ 200,000.00 be appropriated in the following <br /> manner: • <br /> a. Appropriation, Fund 301 - Arterial Street <br /> 1 . Program 243 - Design & Construction of Mukilteo Boulevard widening <br /> at Grandview. <br /> Original appropriation, Ord. 821-81 $ -0- <br /> Amended by this appropriation $ 200,000.00 <br /> New Program Total $ 200,000.00 <br /> b. Source of Funds <br /> Fund 301 - 2¢ Gas Tax <br /> c. Purpose <br /> To design and construct an improvement to Mukilteo Boulevard from <br /> Grandview Ave. to Elk Hill Drive, (approximately 700 feet) . Said <br /> improvement shall consist of shifting the centerline of the roadway <br /> to the north approximately 11 feet to a more stable soil area. In <br /> addition, a widened bikeway/pedestrian walkway shall be constructed <br /> on the north side of the street and on the inside of the curve to <br /> provide a safer passageway for pedestrians/bicycles and also to <br /> provide greater site distance for vehicles. All other construction <br /> work to support the above described improvement shall be accomplished <br /> including guardrails, drainage, curbs, rockeries, fencing, traffic <br /> delineation, shoulder reconstruction and surface restoration. This <br /> project shall be processed in accordance with S.E.P.A. guidelines. <br />
