Grant Positions: <br /> 2 Chip Office Coordinator <br /> Community Planner <br /> 3 Housing Improvement Advisor <br /> Housing Improvement Supervisor <br /> 4 Housing Finance Advisor <br /> Grant Trainee <br /> 5 <br /> 6 Section 8: <br /> 7 A. All appointive officer positions set forth in this ordinance, or as this <br /> 8 ordinance may be in the future amended, shall be exempt from Civil Service and <br /> 9 exempt from the jurisdiction of the Civil Service Board, as provided under Article VIII <br /> 10 of the Everett City Charter. Employees going from Civil Service positions to <br /> 11 appointive positions retain rights back to their former Civil Service classification. If <br /> 12 that classification no longer exists or has been removed from Civil Service, the right to <br /> 13 return to Civil Service classification shall be to a comparable class that the employee is <br /> 14 qualified for or in the highest classification in the series still under Civil Service <br /> 15 depending on which, in the opinion of the Mayor, is more appropriate. <br /> 16 B. Any appointive officer whose status changes within the ranks of <br /> 17 appointive officers because of reorganization shall not have their fringe benefits <br /> 18 reduced by that action. <br /> 19 C.
