O „. j / � ORDINANCE NO. ,5',5/1-,5),9— AN 5',5/1- ?OtAN ORDINANCE annexing certain property to the City of Everett for municipal purposes. (..5&W„e.42,. 4144-aces WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett finds that under the provisions of RCW 35.13.180 and 35.22.570, the City can and should annex certain City of Everett- owned property outside its City limits, as hereinbelow more particularly described, for municipal purposes; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that proper notice has been filed with the Snohomish County Boundary Review Board as required by law; and WHEREAS, the Snohomish County Review Board did at their regular meeting of March 9, 1982, declined to invoke jurisdiction; and WHEREAS, the 60 day request for review period will expire on April 20, 1982. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That the aforesaid findings, recitals and determinations are hereby found to be true and correct in all respects; all requirements of the law in regard to the annexation as per RCW 35.13.180 and 35.22.570 have been complied with. Section 2: That it is further determined that the below-described property is being annexed into the City of Everett for municipal purposes, to-wit; To construct and maintain a sewer facility and such other municipal purposes as are deemed appropriate. Section 3: That the property which is annexed to the City is described as follows: Sewer Aeration Pond Annexation All that portion of Sections 16 & 21, Township 29 North, Range 5 East, W.M. described as follows: Beginning at the Northwest corner of Section 21, Township 29 North, Range 5 East, W.M.; thence East following the North section line of said Section 21 to its intersection with the Snohomish River channel centerline (said line is also the Easterly City of Everett Corporate Limits) and the true point of beginning; thence Southerly following said Snohomish River channel centerline to its confluence with the channel centerline of Union Slough; thence Northerly following said channel centerline of Union Slough to its intersection with the North section line of said Section 21; thence continuing Northerly 40 feet more or less to the North right-of-way line of the County Road (AKA 4th Ave S.E.) in Section 16, Township 29 North, Range 5 East; thence Westerly following said County Road North right of-way line to its intersection with the Easterly right-of-way line of State Road No. 1; thence Southwesterly to a point at the intersection of the Snohomish River Channel centerline and the North line of Section 21, Township 29 North, Range 5 East, and the true point of beginning.
