0 <br /> (w) The word "System" means the existing sanitary sewage <br /> collection and treatment system of the City, including facilities <br /> for the collection and disposal of storm water runoff, as it now <br /> exists and as it may later be added to, extended and improved, and <br /> the existing water supply and distribution system of the City, <br /> including the interest of the City in the water supply facilities <br /> constructed by P .U.D. No. 1 of Snohomish County pursuant to the <br /> Sultan River Project Agreement, as it now exists and as it may <br /> later be added to, extended and improved, for as long as the Bonds <br /> remain outstanding. <br /> Section 2 . Plan of Additions to the System. The following <br /> plan for the acquisition, construction and installation of addi- <br /> tions and betterments to the water supply and distribution facil- <br /> ities of the System has been specified and adopted in Section 2 of <br /> Ordinance No. o,4f, to wit: <br /> The City shall acquire, construct and install a direct <br /> filtration water treatment facility at Lake Chaplain in the Sultan <br /> River Basin. Said facility is more fully described in plans and <br /> specifications therefor prepared by Gray and Osborne, Inc . and now <br /> on file with the City. <br /> The estimated cost of this plan of additions and betterments <br /> and all costs incidental thereto have been declared in Ordinance <br /> No.zr)r-'j to be as nearly as practicable the sum of $31, 550, 000, of <br /> which $16, 000, 000 is to be provided out of the proceeds of the <br /> sale of bonds of the City, including the Bonds, the 1982 Bonds, <br /> and Refunding Bonds, and the remainder from expected grants, from <br /> payment to be received pursuant to the Snohomish PUD Agreement and <br /> from other cash now or hereafter on hand and available therefor. <br /> Section 3 . Issuance of the City of Everett Water and Sewer <br /> Revenue Interim Financing Bonds, 1982 . The City shall issue the <br /> Bonds in the principal amount of $7, 430, 000 for the purpose of <br /> providing part of the funds necessary to pay the costs of the <br /> -5- BD339 81/12/22 <br />
