REVISED <br />DETERMINATION OF NON -SIGNIFICANCE <br />SEPA 0124-88 <br />DESCRIPTION OF PROPOSAL: The proposed action is the issuance of Fire <br />Department permits to allow the removal of 2 - 10,000 gallon and 2 - <br />550 gallon steel underground fuel storage tanks and replacement of <br />the tanks with 2 - 12,000 galllon and 2 - 550 gallon fiberglass tanks <br />at an existing service station. <br />PROPONENT: H.E. A Notice of Construction must be obtained from the Puget Sound <br />Air Pollution Control Agency for the installation of the <br />underground tanks. <br />2. The now fuel tanks must be registered with Ecology's Storage Tank <br />Unit of the Hazardous Waste Program within 30 days of being put <br />into service. The notification form can be obtained by calling <br />Ms. Joan Witt at 1-800-626-7716. <br />MITIGATION OF ADV002 IMPACTS BY StPA <br />The fueling area must be covered and isolated from the drsinage <br />system. A baffle type oil/water separator must be provided prior <br />to discharge into the combined sewer system. (:;11.11A Water <br />Policies) <br />7. A soils test for contamination must he completed in accordance <br />with Department of Ecology procedures. if any contamination <br />above P.cology's cleanup levels is enr_ountored during removal of <br />the old tanks, ncology's Northwest Pevionsl Offil:e must he <br />
