EXHIBIT A <br /> Use of Everett School District facilities by the City of Everett <br /> for the purpose of: <br /> The Code 10 Summer Day Camp <br /> PURPOSE <br /> Code 10 is a program offered approximately five weeks per summer to low income <br /> youth. The day camps consist of three hours of camp activities supervised by Parks and <br /> recreation staff. Activities such as arts and crafts, games and a free lunch provided <br /> through the Federal Summer Lunch Program are elements of the program. <br /> PROGRAM MANAGEMENT <br /> The Youth Outreach Recreation Supervisor for the Everett Parks and Recreation <br /> Department has program responsibility for the Code 10 Summer Day Camp. <br /> RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> The District shall be responsible for: <br /> A. Distribution of program information and registration forms in the classrooms <br /> regarding this program. <br /> B. Collection and holding of registration forms in the school office for frequent pick <br /> up by parks staff. <br /> C. Assistance in selection,reviewing and approving of proposed sites. <br /> D. Provision of at least two school district facilities for Code 10 day camp sites. <br /> E. Janitorial support at no charge during regular custodial hours. <br /> F. Information regarding schools who qualify for the Federal Summer Lunch <br /> program to assist in the determination of site locations. <br /> G. Coordination and oversight of the Federal Summer Lunch program at the school <br /> sites identified annually. <br /> The City shall be responsible for: <br /> A. Provision of this program as funding allows at sites selected by the City and <br /> agreed to by the District. Sites will meet Federal Summer lunch program criteria. <br />
