• <br /> 1 and inspection certificate issued by the Snohomish County Health Department to carry <br /> 2 on or engage in the business of cleaning septic tanks, cesspools, grease traps and <br /> 3 seepage pits. <br /> 4 A separate license shall be obtained for each vehicle so used, which license shall <br /> 5 be prominently displayed in or on the vehicle at all times. No license may be <br /> 6 transferred from one vehicle to another except in the event of loss, destruction or <br /> 7 replacement of a vehicle. The City Clerk shall issue replacement licenses only with the <br /> 8 approval of the Sewer Superintendent. <br /> 9 The name of the person, persons, or business to whom the license is granted and <br /> 10 the license number shall be prominently displayed on the vehicle. <br /> 11 Section 2: It shall be unlawful for persons engaged in the business of disposal <br /> 12 of material to discharge any material including sewage or like materials from cesspools, <br /> 13 septic tanks, holding tanks, chemical toilets, portable toilets and privies into the City <br /> 14 of Everett sewage system except at points of disposal authorized by the Sewer <br /> 15 Superintendent. <br /> 16 Section 3: Applications for licenses to discharge sewage or like materials <br /> 17 from cesspools, septic tanks, holding tanks, chemical toilets, portable toilets and privies <br /> 18 into the City of Everett sewage system shall be completed on such forms as are <br /> 19 required by the Sewer Superintendent and submitted to the City Clerk. Upon approval <br /> 20 of such application form by the Sewer Superintendent, together with assurance of <br /> 21 compliance of all terms of this ordinance, the City Clerk is authorized to grant said <br /> 22 license. <br /> 23 Section 4: The annual fee for a license to discharge sewage or like materials <br /> 24 from cesspools, septic tanks, holding tanks, chemical toilets, portable toilets and privies <br /> 25 into the City of Everett sewage system shall be $100 for each vehicle having capacity <br /> 26 of 2,500 gallons or less, and $160 for each vehicle having capacity in excess of 2,500 <br /> 27 gallons which is employed or used by the license holder for the hauling and discharge of <br /> 28 such materials. Said fees shall be considered as sewer revenues. Said license shall be <br /> 29 an annual license which shall expire December 31 of each year. <br /> 30 In lieu of the annual license herein established and heretofore required by the <br /> 31 City of Everett, there is hereby established a semi-annual license to discharge sewage <br /> 32 -2- <br />
