Dear Mr. Clark:
As requested, we have conducted a geotechnical engineering study for the subject project. The attached report
presents our findings and recommendations for the geotechnical aspects of project design and construction.
Our study indicates the site soils predominantly consist of medium dense to dense sand and silty sand fill soils
overlying dense outwash sand deposits. Light, perched groundwater seepage was observed at depths of 2 feet and
2.5 feet in 2 of the test pits excavated at the site.
In our opinion, there are no geotechnical conditions that would preclude the planned classroom building
construction. The building can be supported on conventional spread footings bearing on the existing medium
dense fills, competent native soils,or structural fill. The patio retaining walls can be similarly supported.
We trust the information presented in this report is sufficient for your current needs. If you have any questions or
require additional information,please call.
Sincerely yours,
