These <br /> comments address building issues only. Additional revisions or additions may be required by other <br /> departments (such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). All references refer to the (2015 International <br /> Building Code,) (2015 International Residential Code,) as amended by the State of Washington <br /> and/or Washington State Energy Code 2015 Edition, and adopted by the City of Everett, unless <br /> stated otherwise. <br /> In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to <br /> provide the Building Division with two new complete sets of drawings reflecting the <br /> corrections requested. <br /> 1. The plans submitted for a permit application shall clearly define the scope of the work to be <br /> performed under the permit. <br /> 2. Provide foundation plan showing location, width, length, depth of all footings and landings. <br /> Include details of post to footing connections capable of resisting uplift and lateral <br /> displacement. <br /> 3. Provide framing plans showing all framing members, size species and grade of lumber and <br /> all wood to wood connections, including stringer to landings, landing to ledger, ledger to <br /> dwelling, post to beam and joists to beams. Ledger bolts shall be staggered top and bottom <br /> with clearances per figure R507.2.1(1) and Figure R507.2.1(2). IRC <br /> 4. Provide stair details that show guardrail construction, opening size at guardrail, stringer <br /> size and quantity, maximum rise, minimum run, handrail size and placement(return ends <br /> to wall),Tread material and nosing requirements if closed risers, opening size limitation if <br /> open risers. <br /> 5.
