v[ [off'oUP
Ted de Budden
From: Ted de Budden
Sent: Thursday,August 11, 2016 4:34 PM
To: Cynthia Keirsey
Subject: RE: New case at 2009 32nd Street, Karschney
Cindy,
A records search was conducted as you requested for the property at 2009 32"d Street.
I am unable to locate any permits for the additions you refer to in your inquiry.
I have reviewed your photos and am in agreement with you that the 2"d floor porch addition is not suitably supported
and thus unsafe as defined by code.
Ted de Budden
Chief Inspector
Everett Building Department
425.257 7271
From: Cynthia Keirsey
Sent: Thursday, August 11, 2016 1:01 PM
To: Ted de Budden
Subject: New case at 2009 32nd Street, Karschney
Ted,
I responded to this property and found the structure in bad shape. I noted a new corrugated metal roof in the side yard.
A back upper porch addition that rests on a rickety garage looks structurally unsafe. I did not see any permit applications
in CRW.The property looks to have many shed roof additions over the years with some structures built to the property
lines. The assessor's record only shows the main building with no additions. Can you search the records and see if any of
the additions were done with permits? I will be addressing the nuisance conditions in the yards and the insect
infestations, roaches,fleas and bedbugs.
Cindy K
1
