• <br /> • <br /> 1 ORDINANCE NO. 7 77-2/ <br /> 2 <br /> AN ORDINANCE lifting the moratorium on building permits and new <br /> 3 sewer connection permits in the areas generating sewer flows <br /> through Lift Station No. 24, and repealing Ordinance Numbers <br /> 4 691-80 and 703-80. <br /> 5 <br /> 6 <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett needed to make modifications to Lift Station <br /> 7 <br /> No. 24 in order to accommodate both existing sewage flows and future sewer flows; and <br /> 8 <br /> WHEREAS, on the 5th of May, 1980, the City of Everett declared a moratorium <br /> 9 <br /> upon the issuance of any building permits or sewer connection permits which would <br /> 10 <br /> result in an increase in the sanitary sewage flow into Lift Station No. 24; and <br /> 11 <br /> WHEREAS, the necessary modifications to Lift Station No. 24 are being <br /> 12 <br /> accomplished and will sufficiently increase the capacity of the affected portion of the <br /> 13 <br /> sewer system prior to the time new construction enabled by lifting the moratorium is <br /> 14 <br /> completed; <br /> 15 <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> 16 <br /> Section 1: The moratorium established pursuant to Ordinance Nos. 691-80 and <br /> 17 703-80 is hereby lifted. <br /> 18 Section 2: Ordinance Nos. 691-80 and 703-80 are hereby repealed. <br /> 19 Section 3: The effective date of this ordinance shall be May 1, 1981. <br /> 20 <br /> 21 gm. <br /> �l G_ <br /> 22 MAYOR <br /> 23 ATTEST: <br /> 24 _.k_ �--- -� <br /> 25 <br /> CITY CLERK <br /> 26 <br /> 27 Passed: g'/ <br /> 1/S <br /> 28 Valid: /7-F/ <br /> 29 Published: 44-* 0 -- <br /> 24 I/ <br /> 30 <br /> 31 <br /> 32 <br />
