April 25, 2018 <br /> President Roberts announced that Action Items No. 2 and 13 had been <br /> pulled from the agenda until a later date and a new item, Action Item No. <br /> 17, has been added for Council action. <br /> Council Member McNeal reported on her attendance yesterday at the <br /> Casino Road Stakeholders' meeting, Cocoon House Butterfly Celebration, <br /> and the Silver Lake Neighborhood meeting. <br /> Council Member Tuohy provided a liaison report on her attendance at the <br /> Snohomish County 911 Board meeting last week. She also reported that <br /> she attended the Council of Neighborhoods meeting on Monday. <br /> Council Member Murphy announced the Council Budget Subcommittee is <br /> scheduled to meet next Wednesday, May 2, at 5:15 p.m., in the Council <br /> chambers. <br /> President Roberts expressed appreciation to Mayor Franklin for open <br /> discussions and cooperation regarding the ongoing structural budget deficit. <br /> He provided a reminder that under Section 11 of the Council Rules of <br /> Procedure, the president is to set the committee agendas for the Council <br /> subcommittees. <br /> ADMINISTRATION UPDATE ON PRIOR BUSINESS <br /> Chief of Staff Lyle Ryan stated he has heard from Council that briefings <br /> need to occur regarding the budget deficit challenges. Mr. Ryan stated that <br /> briefing topics were shared with President Roberts and Vice President <br /> Bader, and he looks forward to direction from President Roberts regarding <br /> the roll out of specific Council briefings. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> City Attorney Iles requested an executive session, anticipated to last no <br /> longer than 10 minutes, concerning a legal matter pursuant to RCW <br /> 42.30.110(1)(i)(c) with no announcement to follow. <br /> 133 <br />
