June 13, 2018 <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> LONG RANGE PLAN — EVERETT TRANSIT <br /> Moved by Council Member Bader, seconded by Council Member <br /> Moore, to adopt the City of Everett Transit Long Range Plan. <br /> Bob Creamer, Everett, reiterated the concerns he expressed at the May <br /> 30, 2018, Council meeting, and urged council members to delay action on <br /> this item. <br /> Council Member Bader reminded the public that this is not a service plan <br /> and the difficult work comes next as policies are developed. <br /> Council Member Stonecipher thanked Mr. Creamer for his comments. <br /> She agreed with Council Member Bader that there is heavy lifting that <br /> remains to be done, including regional coordination. <br /> Council Member Moore concurred that important policy decisions need to <br /> be made. He added that the current structural deficit creates declining <br /> revenues, and that every aspect of the work being done by the City needs <br /> to be considered. <br /> President Roberts agreed that this is not the end of the process. He stated <br /> the Metro Everett Plan is coming forward and the coordination of <br /> transportation and transit assets is going to be considered. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 183 <br />
