Those services were primarily needed to support hydraulic/hydrologic modeling and design
efforts to eliminate basement flooding, control Combined Sewer Overflows (CSOs), and to produce the 2014
Comprehensive Sewer Plan Update. Earlier this year, it was determined that there is no longer a need for the
sewer monitoring services and that the SFE Global contract should be discontinued. However,there remains
a need to access historical sewer flow data as well as continuing to collect new precipitation data from City-
owned rain gauges.
FlowWorks Inc willcontinue a web-based platform for management of Everett Public Works rain gauge data
together with a variety of online data access and analysis tools. Historic and ongoing management of this
precipitation data is utilized to support Public Works capital project planning and design related to surface
water drainage, combined sewer system and Water Pollution Control Facility. The proposed contract is for
services through the end of 2020, and services and expenses will exceed a maximum compensation of
$26,000.00.
RECOMMENDATION(Exact action requested of Council):
Authorize the Mayor to sign Professional Services lifeement with FlowWorks Inc. for data management
rtvi-`trnrii ire en mmrviin+nnf fn ,.AA,1 4t)/ nnn nn
