Districting Ordinance Incorporating Revisions from Introduced Draft k <br /> E- Section 9.1 of the Charter,which reads as <br /> follows: Sec. 9.1. Time-Place-Manner. <br /> All general,primary, and special elections shall be non-partisan, and the time, <br /> place, and manner of calling, holding, and conducting such elections shall be as <br /> provided by the laws of the State of Washington; provided,however, that the first <br /> election of officers, and the primary therefor, shall be held at the time prescribed <br /> in this charter for such election, and for the purposes and terms as set forth in this <br /> charter for such first election of officers. <br /> Is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> Sec. 9.1. Time-Place Manner. <br /> All general,primary, and special elections shall be non-partisan, and the <br /> time,place, and manner of calling, holding, and conducting such elections <br /> shall be as provided by the laws ofthe State of Washington; provided, <br /> however,that the first election of officers, and the primary therefor, shall <br /> officers. <br /> Alternative Option B [4 Districts, 3 at-large] <br /> Section 2.1 of the Charter,which reads as follows: <br /> Sec.2.1.Elective City Officers,Size of Council- Elected at Large. <br /> The elective officers of the City shall be the Mayor and seven(7) Council <br /> members, all of whom shall be elected by majority vote from the City at large. <br /> Is hereby amended to 1 read as follows: <br /> Sec.2.1 Elective City Officers,Size of Council Fleeted-at-Large <br /> Districts. (a) The elective officers of the City shall be the Mayor and <br /> seven (7) Council members,all of whom with each Council member <br /> elected from one of seven(7) Council positions. Positions one (1) <br /> through four (4) shall each be elected by majority vote of the electors in <br /> four(4)separate geographical districts within the City.
