However, after taking public testimony <br /> the Council voted to postpone final action on the ordinance amending the B-3 Central <br /> Business Zone until November 19 in order to allow Staff to develop a revision in the <br /> section of the ordinance related to the ratio of residential to non-residential use in <br /> new structures exceeding ten stories in height. <br /> PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO DEAL WITH RESIDENTIAL USE OF <br /> BUILDINGS MORE THAN 10 STORIES TALL: <br /> Permitted Uses <br /> B All residential uses: PROVIDED: <br /> 1. Except for publicly assisted housing, residential uses shall not be permitted <br /> on the ground level floor of any principal use structure. <br /> Except for publicly assisted housing, residential uses shall not exceed fifty pervert <br /> of the gross floor area (exclusive of parking) of any principal use structure with <br /> ten or less floors above grade. <br /> 3. <br /> 2.. Except for publicly assisted housing, residential uses shall not exceed fifty percert <br /> of the gross floor area (exclusive of parking) of ten floors of any principal <br /> use structure with more than ten floors above grade. <br /> 4.
