I <br /> I <br /> deemed to have been given to and received by the Contractor the day after the day of <br /> mailing. <br /> B. Suggestions to Contractor <br /> 1. Nothing in these Contract Documents requires the Owner's Representative to provide the <br /> Contractor with direction or advice on how to do the Work, construction practices, or means <br /> and methods. If the Owner's Representative approves, suggests or recommends any <br /> construction practice, means, method or manner for doing the Work or producing materials, <br /> the approval or recommendation shall not: (A) guarantee that following the method or <br /> manner will result in compliance with the Contract Documents; (B)relieve the Contractor of <br /> any risks or obligations under the Contract Documents; or (C) create any liability by the <br /> Owner to the Contractor. <br /> 2. Suggestions as to the plans or methods of accomplishing the Work or Contract requirements <br /> by the Owner or the Owner's Representative to the Contractor but not specified or required, <br /> if adopted or followed by the Contractor in whole or in part, shall be used at the risk and <br /> responsibility of the Contractor. The Owner and the Owner's Representative assume no <br /> responsibility therefor and in no way will be held liable for any defects in the Work which <br /> may result from or be caused by use of such plan or method or Work. <br /> 4.17 Meetings with Owner <br /> A. The Contractor shall have its duly authorized representative attend periodic informational <br /> meetings with the Owner's Representative and City staff, as reasonably required by the Owner. <br /> B. Contractor, Owner, and Owner's Representative shall meet as often as determined by the <br /> Owner's Representative, but no less often than once each month. The purpose of the meeting is <br /> to review Project status in relation to the construction schedule; review value of Work completed <br /> during the previous month; and, if applicable, review Contractor's plans to return Project status to <br /> that required by the schedule. If requested by the Owner or Owner's Representative, the <br /> Contractor shall submit a written progress report within five days following this meeting, <br /> comprising: <br /> 1. The current construction schedule indicating percent complete, actual completion or start <br /> dates since the previous review, the estimated remaining duration for each activity in <br /> progress, Schedule of Values update, and narrative summary. <br /> 2. Reasons any activities are behind schedule and the corrective steps being taken. <br /> 4.18 Cooperation with Others I <br /> A. The Contractor agrees to permit entry to the Site of the Work by the Owner, its employees or <br /> other contractors performing work on behalf of the Owner. The Contractor shall afford to the <br /> Owner, other contractors and their employees, reasonable facilities and cooperation and shall <br /> arrange its work and dispose of its materials in such a manner as to not interfere with the <br /> activities of the Owner or of others upon the Site of Work. The Contractor shall promptly make <br /> good any Contractor-caused injury or damage to persons or property that may be sustained by <br /> other contractors or employees of the Owner. The Contractor shall join its work to that of others <br /> and perform its work in proper sequence in relation to that of others. <br /> B. If requested by the Contractor, the Owner will arrange meetings with other contractors I <br /> performing work on behalf of the Owner to plan coordination of construction activities.
