• <br /> July 18, 2018 <br /> PUBLIC HEARING — COUNCIL BILL 1807-23 <br /> President Roberts opened a public hearing regarding the proposed <br /> ordinance relating to regular property taxes; providing for the submission to <br /> the qualified electors of the City a special election to be held in conjunction <br /> with the state general election on November 6, 2018, of a proposition <br /> authorizing the City to levy regular emergency medical services property <br /> taxes in excess of the limitations of Chapter 84.55 RCW for emergency <br /> medical services; setting forth the text of the ballot proposition, directing the <br /> proper City officials to take necessary actions; and providing for other <br /> related matters. <br /> There were no citizens who wished to speak. <br /> Moved by Council Member Bader, seconded by Council Member <br /> Tuohy, to close the public hearing. <br /> • <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council <br /> Members Murphy and Moore who were excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> COUNCIL BILL 1807-23 <br /> THIRD AND FINAL READING: <br /> AN ORDINANCE relating to regular property taxes; providing for the <br /> submission to the qualified electors of the City a special election to be held <br /> in conjunction with the state general election on November 6, 2018, of a <br /> proposition authorizing the City to levy regular emergency medical services <br /> property taxes in excess of the limitations of Chapter 84.55 RCW for <br /> emergency medical services; setting forth the text of the ballot proposition, <br /> directing the proper City officials to take necessary actions; and providing <br /> for other related matters <br /> Moved by Council Member Bader, seconded by Council Member <br /> McNeal, that this is declared to be the third and final reading of Council <br /> • <br /> 221 <br />
