In addition, staff indicated they would begin a parallel <br /> effort to identify, evaluate, and recommend a long-term option regarding the location for the future delivery <br /> of public works services to Everett residents and customers. <br /> The parallel effort requires Council authorization to solicit a Request for Proposal(RFP). Unlike an RFQ <br /> where a recommended consultant is identified without regard for price; an RFP includes the consideration of <br /> price in order to make a best value recommendation and award. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br /> Authorize Request for Proposals for the Public Works Site Selection Study. <br /> 23 <br />
