August 15, 2018 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at <br /> 6:30 p.m., August 15, 2018, in the City Council Chambers of the William E. <br /> Moore Historic City Hall, Council President Roberts presiding. Upon roll call, <br /> it was found that Mayor Franklin and Council Members Roberts, Moore, <br /> Murphy, McNeal, Bader, Stonecipher, and Tuohy were present. <br /> Council Member Tuohy led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the August 8, 2018, City Council meeting were approved as <br /> printed. Council Members Moore and Stonecipher abstained from the vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> OATH — POLICE OFFICER <br /> Moved by Council Member Murphy, seconded by Council Member <br /> Stonecipher, to concur with the appointment of Titus Le as a new <br /> police officer. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> The Deputy City Clerk administered the oath of office, and Mayor Franklin <br /> presented the officer with his badge. <br /> Mayor Franklin commented on her attendance at the current Japanese - <br /> American exhibit at the Schack Art Center. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Bader provided a liaison report on his attendance at the <br /> Snohomish Health District Board meeting. <br /> 252 <br />
