1 9. Urinals. Where men' s urinals are provided, <br /> 2 at least one in each toilet room shall be a wall- <br /> 3 mounted urinal with the opening of the basin <br /> 4 fifteen inches (15") from the finished floor, <br /> 5 or shall be floor-mounted urinals that are level <br /> 6 with the finished floor. The urinal space shall <br /> 7 be free of any obstructions such as side screens , <br /> 8 etc. for a minimum distance of sixteen inches <br /> 9 (16" ) measured horizontally from the center line <br /> 10 of the urinal to any such obstruction on either <br /> 11 side , allowing for a clear opening width of <br /> 12 thirty-two inches (32" ) in front of the urinal. <br /> 13 Section 4 . If any Section, sentence, clause or phrase <br /> 14 of this ordinance should be held invalid or unconstitutional , <br /> 15 the invalidity or unconstitutionality thereof shall not affect <br /> 16 the validity or constitutionality of any other Section, sentence , <br /> 17 clause or phrase. <br /> 18 Section 5 . There is hereby added the following <br /> 19 Section to the Washington State Regulations for Barrier-Free <br /> 20 Facilities: <br /> 21 Violation and Penalties <br /> 22 20 . 3 Any person, firm or corporation violating <br /> 23 any provision of this Regulation shall be deemed <br /> 24 guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction <br /> 25 thereof, shall be punishable by a fine not to <br /> 26 exceed FIVE HUNDRED dollars ($500) or by imprison- <br /> 27 ment in jail not to exceed six (6) months , or <br /> 28 both fine and imprisonment.
