EXHIBIT A <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> A. Project Description: Water Filtration Plant Operator Office Space <br /> Scope of work includes architectural design support services for the construction of a new 700 SF office space to be <br /> located on the second floor of the Water Filtration Plant's Operations building.Provided services for this project <br /> include preparation of design and construction documents,permitting,bidding and construction support. <br /> Task 1—Preliminary Design <br /> 2812 Architecture will provide a preliminary floor plan that will convey future layout of the office space. The <br /> preliminary floor plan will provide the design basis for the project tasks listed below; <br /> Task 2—Permit and Construction Documents <br /> 2812 Architecture will provide for the preparation and coordination of construction documents as required to obtain <br /> a building permit with Snohomish County. Subtasks include: <br /> 2.1 Prepare 100%plans. <br /> 2.2 Review meetings with the City(up to one meeting). <br /> 2.3 Building department submittal and comment response. <br /> Assumptions <br /> • The City will distribute all bid documents for the project. <br /> • City will pay all applicable permitting fees. <br /> Deliverables <br /> • Plans stamped by the design professionals in PDF format. <br /> Task 3—Mechanical&Electrical Design <br /> 2812 Architecture will enlist the services of sub-consultant Rensch Engineering to provide the following; <br /> 3.1 Perform site Survey <br /> 3.2 HVAC system design,drawings and specifications <br /> 3.3 Power, Lighting and Data design,drawings and specifications <br /> Task 4— Bidding and Construction Administration Services <br /> 2812 Architecture will support the City on an as-needed basis during construction of the project. This support will <br /> be limited to incidental support and periodic collaboration with the City and the general contractor at the direction of <br /> the City. Subtasks include: <br /> 4.1 Review construction submittals as directed by the City for conformance with the contract documents. Assist <br /> with clarifications and field changes during construction. We have assumed that the City will take the lead in <br /> administering and managing the construction contract and communicating with the subcontractors. <br /> 4.2 Attendance at up to(1)site meeting or site observation. <br /> 4.3 Preparation of as-built drawings. <br />
