Since then,rent and common <br /> area maintenance (CAM) charges have been adjusted on the November 1st of each year while the lease term <br /> was renewed July 1St of each year. The City and Snohomish County 911 desire to exercise the lease renewal <br /> as provided for under the lease agreement and adjust the lease term so that it is consistent with the rent and <br /> CAM adjustment anniversary date of November 1St <br /> The attached Amendment No. 3 renews the lease for a period of 16-months from July 1, 2018,to October 31, <br /> 2019, instead of 24-months as provided for in the lease agreement but will result in consistency between the <br /> lease expiration and rental adjustment dates all occurring on November 1St of each year that the lease is in <br /> effect. A rent increase based upon the Consumer Price Index will occur November 1St of this year. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br /> Authorize the Mayor to sign Lease Amendment No. 3 to lease agreement with Snohomish County Police and <br /> Auxiliary Services Center for space at the South Precinft7Building. <br />
