August 22, 2018 <br /> • The first issue addressed the Norton-Grand and Historic Overlays. <br /> • The second issue addressed a height change request. <br /> • The third issue addressed clinics and social services. <br /> • The fourth issue addressed the Zoning-Land Use changes. <br /> • The fifth issue addressed Off-Street Parking. <br /> Discussion took place regarding maximum building heights, access for <br /> public utilities within alleyways, incentives, sunset provisions, boundary <br /> adjustments, and the Transportation Demand Management Plan. <br /> Council Member Moore left council chambers at 1:49 p.m. <br /> Council Members Stonecipher and Murphy stated they did not want any <br /> downzone of existing properties. <br /> Council requested that staff bring back language addressing the height <br /> change on Colby Avenue at 26th Street. <br /> Five options were presented to Council regarding clinics: <br /> • prohibit entirely; <br /> • prohibit on the ground floor; <br /> • prohibit on the ground floor of the Transit-Oriented Development <br /> (TOD) and pedestrian streets; <br /> • prohibit in the ground floor of the Transit-Oriented Development <br /> (TOD) and with an expanded pedestrian classification; or <br /> • prohibit based on size, proximity and patient volume. <br /> Council Member Tuohy requested that the option to prohibit clinics on the <br /> ground floor of the Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) and with the <br /> expanded pedestrian classification be brought back to Council. <br /> Council Member Bader requested that the option to prohibit clinics entirely <br /> be brought back to Council. <br /> Council requested that staff bring back language addressing one option to <br /> the zoning at Cedar Street and California Avenue. <br /> 266 <br />
