1 code , or by reason or in consequence of any <br /> 2 inspection, notice, order, certificate, per- <br /> 3 mission or approval authorized or issued or <br /> 4 done in connection with the implementation or <br /> 5 enforcement of this Code, or by reason of any <br /> 6 action or inaction on the part of the City <br /> 7 related in any manner to the enforcement of <br /> 8 this Code by its officers , employees or <br /> 9 agents. <br /> 10 Section 3 : Section 201 (c) of the Uniform Code for <br /> 11 the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings is hereby amended by <br /> 12 deleting: <br /> 13 (c) Right of Entry. Whenever necessary to <br /> 14 make an inspection to enforce any of the pro- <br /> 15 visions of this code, or whenever the Building <br /> 16 Official or his authorized representative has <br /> 17 reasonable cause to believe that there exists in <br /> 18 any building or upon any premises any condition <br /> 19 or code violation which makes such building or <br /> 20 premises unsafe, dangerous or hazardous, the <br /> 21 Building Official or his authorized representative <br /> 22 may enter such building or premises at all rea- <br /> sonable times to inspect the same or to perform <br /> 23 <br /> 24 any duty imposed upon the Building Official by <br /> 25 this code, provided that if such buildings or <br /> premises be occupied, he shall first present proper <br /> 26 <br /> credentials and request entry; and if such building <br /> 27 <br /> or premises be unoccupied, he shall first make a <br /> 28 <br /> 29 <br /> 30 <br /> 31 <br /> 32 -3- <br />
