ORDINANCE NO. 7 472 2 AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. 669-80, modifying sewer connection fees in some areas. 1 WHEREAS, the Everett City Council passed Ordinance No. 669-80 on 2 February 27, 1980, creating special sewer connection fees for the purpose of 3 funding sewer system capacity improvements; and 4 WHEREAS, it has been found that costs for areas served by the South 5 End Interceptor are greater than originally anticipated resulting in the need 6 for increased fees; and, 7 WHEREAS, fees in these areas have been established at the higher level 8 for land subdivisions and major construction projects; and 9 WHEREAS, it is desireable to amend Ordinance 669-80 to make it consistent 10 with other connection fees ordinances; 11 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE EVERETT CITY COUNCIL 12 THAT: 13 Section 1.B. of Ordinance No. 669-80 which reads: 14 B. Area 2 - (South End Interceptor), as shown on the attached map: 15 $263 for each direct connection to the Everett public sewer system 16 of a single family residence. 17 $384 for direct connection to the Everett public sewer system of 18 a duplex. 19 $510 for direct connection to the Everett public sewer system of 20 a triplex or three family structure. 21 $680 for direct connection to the Everett public sewer system of 22 a fourplex or four family structure. 23 is hereby amended to read: 24 B. Area 2 (South End Interceptor), as shown on the attached map: 25 $339 for each direct connection to the Everett public sewer system 26 of a single family residence. 27 $496 for direct connection to the Everett public sewer system of 28 a duple x. 29 $657 for direct connection to the Everett public sewer system of 30 a triplex or three family structure. 31 $876 for direct connection to the Everett public sewer system of 32 a fourplex or four family structure.
