EPO-10: The city should provide resources and support for redevelopment of brown fields into active uses. Actions the <br /> city can potentially take include: <br /> • Additional inventory and environmental site assessments of brownfield sites <br /> • Funding cleanup for publicly owned brownfield sites, and help for private sites if available <br /> • Creation of community renewal or redevelopment opportunity zones to assist in cleanup <br /> • Clean water and stormwater funds to improve water quality <br /> EPO-I I: The city should encourage master planning of properties and districts where possible to integrate stormwater <br /> management into bioswales and rain gardens which create public gardens and open space. <br /> EPO-I2: The city should provide incentives to make buildings energy efficient.
