PUBLIC WDRJSS
2*-if
July 27, 2017
Bruce Dunn
15049 NE Bell-Red Road
Bellevue, WA 98007
Email: bdunn@cja-inc.com
Owner: Sharon Wilcox
Job Address: 2727 Colby Ave
Plan Check No: B1707-034
RE: Corrections Letter
Dear Mr. Dunn,
In response to the application for a building permit, the plans have been examined and you are
advised that revisions may be necessary before a permit can be issued. Please review and
respond to the comments below.
In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the
Building Division with two new sets of revised construction documents reflecting the corrections
requested. Please include a response letter which indicates how the corrections were resolved.
General
1. The exterior seating is being reviewed by the Public Works development reviewer and is
not part of this (building) review.
2. The City of Everett has an ordinance that regulates grease accumulation and removal,
which is administered through the Industrial Pretreatment division of Public Works (IPT).
I have contacted that division on behalf of the project regarding the possibility of a
(minimum 750 gallon) required grease interceptor. The preliminary response is that the
interceptor may not be required for this project; however, Industrial Pretreatment will
make final determination. Please contact IPT directly at (425) 257-8240.
3. Prior to the issuance of the plumbing permit, a commercial kitchen-plumbing permit will
be required. Please see the attached checklist for submission requirements (IPT handout
is on the back).
4. The calculated occupant load is greater than 50 persons, which would require the space
to be classified as an assembly occupancy. When we employ the provisions of Section
1004.1.2 to permit a stated occupant load less than 50, we require the following:
a. The maximum occupant load should be posted. The location and wording of the
sign should be.shown on the plans.
