During a site visit on September 13th, it was observed that one set of stairs from the second <br />floor and several first floor exit doors were blocked by the tenant, and that walls were erected on the <br />second floor without permits. <br />In response to the application submitted, the plans have been examined and you are advised that this <br />is an incomplete submittal for building permit. Please submit two sets of drawings with a response <br />letter indicating how. corrections: are resolved on the plan seta <br />General ., <br />1. Work completed. in the.tenant space_, without -permits or inspections should be identified 'as. new' <br />on the drawings, and should meet current code requirements for construction. <br />2. The -additional second floor area without permits triggers accessibility requirements to the <br />tenant'space and the -second floor. <br />.3. Floor plans and reference details should be labeled and targeted on the drawings, with the <br />scales noted and a north arrow. <br />4. A site parking layout should be submitted as part of the building permit application. <br />5. Washington State law states that buildings over 4000 square feet requires an architect to <br />submit drawings for building permit, per RCW 18.08.410 (6) and (7), where the work affects <br />the life safety or structural systems of the building. <br />Structural <br />1. Please submit structural drawings, calculations, and specific support details for the second floor <br />structural. design sufficient to resist overturning forces from wind, gravity and seismic loading, <br />per.
