Thank you for helping me with this!
I took out the roof permit in December of 2016 to make a small roof repair and to comply with
the city's permit rules in good faith. This was before we went into rearchitecting the entire house
with structural engineering etc per the plans that were just finaled. I honestly had no thought of
needing a final on a small roof repair. Perhaps it was not even necessary to take out the permit?
But I did so in good faith. The issue is I left the country two days ago and will not be back until
two months from now. I have worked really hard for over a year to get this project completed
before my trip. Including an extraordinary amount of money and time to bring the house up to
code per the city's wishes. So, is there anyway we can get past this small roof repair that may
not have needed a permit? I really need to get the certificate of occupancy urgently to not get
into financial hardship.
Thank you for your consideration.
Best, Johan
On Mon, Jun 18, 2018 at 2:32 PM, Cindy Bergsma<CBergsma@everettwa.gov>wrote:
I'm doing the research for this home but I see the roof permit has not been finalled.
