All required submittals must be of <br /> sufficient detail and information to ensure that the proposed structures will be constructed in compliance <br /> with all adopted codes, with two sets of drawings submitted for revisions. <br /> Mechanical <br /> 1. The permit application indicates that unit(s) will be added. Please identify on the drawings the <br /> weight of the new unit for the work included in the scope of this permit. <br /> Structural <br /> 1. If the weight of the unit exceeds 400 pounds, please provide stamped letter by a Washington <br /> State licensed professional engineer that the new equipment can be supported by the existing <br /> building structure. This should include detailing of structural revisions where required to support <br /> the new equipment. <br /> Energy <br /> 1. Economizers are required unless documentation is submitted indicating an alternate path of <br /> compliance. Please identify the path of prescriptive method of compliance per the WSEC section <br /> C403.3, or other method of compliance for the new unit(s). <br /> a. Please include an equipment schedule with equipment capacity and economizers for all <br /> new heat pumps and air handling units, per WSEC C4033. <br /> b. Please identify the model number, fuel source, CFM, SEER, EER, cooling and heating <br /> capacity, and method of zone controls. <br /> Upon resubmittal of the drawings, your application will be given priority and plan review will <br /> recommence. Applicable codes include the 2015 International Building Code, the 2015 International <br /> Existing Building Code, the 2015 International Fire Code, the 2015 International Mechanical Code, and <br /> the 2015 Washington State Energy Code (WSEC) as amended by the State of Washington and adopted <br /> by the City of Everett.
