- r►- + <br /> 1 2. Sick Leave: Upon employment with the City, Appointive <br /> Officers shall have available immediately ten (10) days of sick <br /> 2 leave with pay. All Appointive Employees shall accrue sick leave <br /> at a rate of two (2) days per month to a total maximum of one <br /> 3 hundred-twenty (120) days. While still actively employed with the <br /> City of Everett, should any monthly disability payment be made to <br /> 4 the Appointive Officer as a benefit resulting from any insurance <br /> coverage provided by the City, the City shall only pay the <br /> 5 difference between the amount of the benefit and the Appointive <br /> Officers normal monthly salary. In no case shall such sick leave <br /> 6 payment exceed one hundred-twenty (120) work days at eight (8) <br /> hours per day. <br /> 7 <br /> Section 2: City Council: <br /> 8 <br /> A. Members of the City Council of the City of Everett who request coverage <br /> 9 under the City's medical insurance plan shall be granted such coverage to be <br /> comprised of the following: <br /> 10 <br /> 1. Basic medical and major medical coverage for the Councilperson and <br /> 11 eligible dependents. <br /> 12 2. Major dental coverage for the Councilperson and eligible dependents. <br /> 13 3. Vision care plan for the Councilperson and eligible dependents. <br /> 14 4. $2,000.00 life insurance for the Councilperson. Dependents may be <br /> covered at the Councilpersons. option and expense. <br /> 15 <br /> 16 Section 3: Mayor: <br /> 17 A.
