The Planning Department <br /> shall be responsible for assigning a date of public hearing for each application <br /> which date shall not be more than thirty (30) days after the applicant has complied <br /> with all requirements including completion of the environmental review under the <br /> provisions of the State Environmental Policy Act and furnished all necessary data <br /> to the Planning Department. <br /> Section 14: CONCURRENT APPLICATIONS AND PERMIT REVIEW PROCESS: <br /> Any person proposing a land use project which would require more than one of the <br /> permits or approvals listed in Section 12A of this ordinance or which in addition to <br /> at least one such permit or approval would require a conditional use permit or <br /> variance under Title 19 of the City Code, may submit a concurrent application to <br /> the Building Department, on form(s) furnished by the department, containing all <br /> necessary information. The concurrent application shall thereafter be jointly <br /> processed by the City subject to the most lengthy time limitation applicable to any <br /> of the required permits or approvals. For purposes of this section the Examiner <br /> shall have all the powers of the Board of Adjustment and the Examiner's decisions <br /> regarding issuance or denial of a conditional use permit or variance shall have the <br /> effect prescribed hereinafter. If any of the required permits or approvals fall <br /> within Section 12.A.2 of this ordinance, the decision of the Examiner as to all such <br /> permits or approvals shall constitute a recommendation to the City Council, <br /> otherwise, the decision of the Examiner shall be final subject to appeal to the <br /> Council pursuant to Section 18. The Planning Department may prescribe a reduced <br /> fee schedule for concurrent applications reflecting cost savings realized through <br /> unified processing. <br /> Section 15: REPORT BY PLANNING DEPARTMENT: When such application has <br /> been set for public hearing, the Planning Department shall coordinate and assemble <br /> the comments and recommendations of other City departments and governmental <br /> agencies having an interest in the subject application and shall prepare a report <br /> summarizing the factors involved and the Planning Department findings and <br /> recommendations. At least seven (7) calendar days prior to the scheduled hearing, <br /> the report shall be filed with the Examiner and copies thereof shall be mailed to <br /> the applicant and shall be made available for use by any interested party for the <br /> -6- <br />
