ORDINANCE NO. 6 8 �O <br /> AN ORDINANCE providing for the vacation of <br /> a portion of Norton Avenue (East of Scott Paper <br /> Company) at 23rd Street extended Westerly and <br /> repealing Ordinance #673-80 <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett did by Resolution <br /> No. 1734 duly adopted and fix the 6th day of February, 1980, at 8:30 a.m., <br /> for the public hearing; and <br /> WHEREAS, due and legal notice of the time and place of said hearings <br /> and determination of said Resolutions has been given by the City Clerk <br /> in the manner prescribed by law; and <br /> WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for favorable statements <br /> and objections to the vacating of the herein described alley were heard <br /> and discussed; and <br /> WHEREAS, it now appears to the City Council of the City of Everett <br /> that the portion of said alley resolved to be vacated should be vacated; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: <br /> Beginning at the City Monument at 24th Street and Grand <br /> Avenue, in the City of Everett, Washington; thence N 0°08'00" E, <br /> along the Grand Avenue monument line, a distance of 26.00 feet; <br /> thence N 89 52'00" W, along the North right-of-way line of 24th <br /> Street, and the projection thereof, a distance of 567.67 feet; thence <br /> N 3°03'00" E For 3.99 feet to the point of beginning of $ curve, <br /> at which point the radius point of said curve bears S 86 57'00" E; <br /> thence on said curve, to the right, caving a radius of 5844.65 feet; <br /> and consuming a central angle of 4 26'00", an arc distance of 452.24 <br /> feet to the point of ending of said curve bears S 82°32'00" E; thence <br /> N 7°29'00" E, a distance of 25.93 feet to the true point of beginning <br /> thence continue N 7°29'00" E, a distance of 54.52 feet; thence <br /> S 25°20'00" E a distance of 60.70 feet; thence N 89 52'00" W a <br /> distance of 33.0 feet to the true point of beginning. <br /> be and the same is hereby vacated. <br /> Section 2: <br /> The City of Everett, its successors or assigns shall not be responsible <br /> or liable for storm drainage runoff resulting from existing drainage <br /> patterns as established on City rights-of-way that may now or in <br /> the future go over, under, or across the above described street <br /> vacation. <br />
