13 � <br /> { 7 <br /> • ORDINANCE NO. 67/.4'6 <br /> AN ORDINANCE creating a special construction <br /> fund entitled "East Glen Drive Storm Drainage <br /> Line Fund No. 341," and authorizing the design and <br /> construction of the East Glen Drive Storm Drainage <br /> Line. <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council is aware of a storm drainage problem <br /> on East Glen Drive which would be further aggravated by new development <br /> in upstream areas; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes the need for a new storm <br /> drainage line on East Glen Drive; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council realizes that it would be of mutual <br /> benefit to both the residents of the East Glen Drive area and developers <br /> wishing to develop in that area and upstream areas to provide a storm <br /> drainage line for East Glen Drive; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE EVERETT CITY COUNCIL that: <br /> Section 1: A special construction fund is hereby established <br /> as Fund No. 341 entitled "East Glen Drive Storm Drainage Line Fund <br /> No. 341," to accomplish the actions authorized in subsequent sections <br /> of this ordinance. <br /> Section 2: Authorization is hereby granted to the Public Works <br /> Director to provide a storm drainage line on East Glen Drive. <br /> The City shall acquire all materials, equipment, personal and <br /> real property interest therein, easements, franchises, and rights-of- <br /> way necessary to carry out the above-described plans. <br /> The above described drainage line shall be constructed as specifically <br /> set forth in preliminary maps and plans. Such plans shall be subject <br /> to such additions or changes as to details, including pipe size or <br /> other changes not affecting the main general plan as may be authorized <br /> from time to time by the Director of Public Works of the City of Everett. <br /> Section 3: The total estimated cost of the drainage line herein <br /> authorized is $40,000 which will include all costs for design, construction, <br /> contract administration, plan development and associated costs. <br /> Section 4 : The Director of Public Works of the City of Everett <br /> under the administration of the Mayor is hereby given the responsibility <br /> of conducting all tasks outlined under Section 2 above. <br /> Section 5: A. The sum of $40,000 is hereby appropriated to "East <br /> Glen Drive Storm Drainage Line Fund No. 341. <br /> B. Source of Funds <br /> 1. Twenty-five percent (25%) of the necessary funds shall <br /> be contributed by Parkview Development, Inc. of Woodinville, <br /> Washington, a private developer, as part of his building <br /> permit requirement. The remainder of the funds will be <br /> provided from Fund 404 by the City of Everett. <br />
