. w ' <br /> ORDINANCE NO: /". -,-fC:' <br /> AN ORDINANCE amending Sections 2 and 6 of Ordinance <br /> No. 505-78 creating a special construction fund entitled <br /> "Merrill-Ring Bridge, Mukilteo Blvd. (Gibson P1. to <br /> Lynnewood Dr.)" and increasing the appropriation required <br /> for this project to $2,196,250. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: <br /> That Section 2 and 6 of Ordinance No. 505-78 which reads as follows: <br /> Section 2: <br /> Authorization is hereby given to provide for improvements and <br /> modifications to the existing bridge crossing on Mukilteo Blvd. <br /> over the Merrill-Ring Creek. The improvement will provide a <br /> bridge structure with a 44 foot roadway plus 2 foot lateral <br /> clearance to the curbs sidewalks, and tapered street approaches <br /> { between the widened structure and the existing street. <br /> Section 6: <br /> a. The sum of $806,000 is hereby appropriated to Fund 324, <br /> "MERRILL-RING BRIDGE, MUKILTEO BLVD. (Gibson P1. to <br /> Lynnewood Dr.)" for the purposes herein specified in <br /> the following manner: <br /> Program 712 - MERRILL-RING BRIDGE, MUKILTEO BLVD. <br /> (Gibson P1. to Lynnewood Dr.) <br /> Total Appropriation $806,000 <br /> b. The Source of Funds for these appropriations shall be <br /> as follows: <br /> Program 712 - Merrill-Ring Bridge, Mukilteo Blvd. <br /> (Gibson P1. to Lynnewood Dr.) <br /> Urban Arterial Board (UAB) $725,400 <br /> General Funds (1977 Cash Forward) 15,000 <br /> General Funds (1979 Sources) 65,600 <br /> TOTAL $806,000 <br /> c. This appropriation shall not lapse, but be carried forward <br /> from year to year until fully expended or the purpose has <br /> been accomplished or abandoned without necessity of re- <br /> appropriation, as per R.C.W. 35.33.151. <br /> THAT Sections 2 and 6 of Ordinance No. 505-78 are hereby amended <br /> as follows: <br /> "Section 2: <br /> Authorization is hereby given to provide for improvements and <br /> } modifications to the existing bridge on Mukilteo Blvd. crossing <br /> over the Merrill-Ring Creek. The improvements will provide <br /> ' a bridge with a 34 foot roadway, with two sidewalks, one on <br /> each side of the roadway. The sidewalks will be temporary and <br /> be capable of being easily removed to provide a 44 foot roadway <br /> in the event Mukilteo Blvd. is ever widened to 44 feet. In <br /> if <br /> H <br />
