• ORDINANCE NO. t 7 'd d AN ORDINANCE providing for the vacation of a portion of the alley lying North of 15th Street and East of Chestnut Street. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett did by Resolution No. 1736 duly adopted and fix the 6th day of February, 1980, at 8:30 a.m. for the public hearing; and WHEREAS, due and legal notice of the time and place of said hearings and determination of said Resolutions has been given by the City Clerk in the manner prescribed by law; and WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for hearing favorable statements and objections to the vacating of the herein described street were heard and discussed; and WHEREAS, it now appears to the City Council of the City of Everett that the portion of said street resolved to be vacated should be vacated; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: Beginning at the City Monument at 24th Street and Grand Avenue, in the City of Everett, Washington; thence N 0°08'00"E, along the Groand Avenue monument line, a distance of 26.00 feet; thence N 89 52'00"W, aLong the North right-of-way line of 24th Street, and the projection thereof, a distance of 567.67 feet; thence N3°03'00"E for 3.99 feet to the point of beginning of a(curve, at which point the radius point of said curve bears S 86 57'00"E; thence on said curve, to the right, having a radius of 5844.65 feet; and consuming a central angle of 4°26'00", an arc distance of 452.24 feet to the point of ending of said curve bears S 82°32'00" E; thence N 7°29'00" E, a distance of 25.93 feet, to the true point of beginning; thence continue N 7°29'00" E, a distance of 54.52 feet; thence S 25 20'00" E a distance of 60.70 feet; thence N 89 52'00" W a distance of 33.00 feet to the true point of beginning. be and the same is hereby vacated. Section 2: The City of Everett, its successors or assigns shall not be responsible or liable for storm drainage runoff resulting from existing drainage patterns as established on City rights-of-way that may now or in the future go over, under, or across the above described street vacation.
