ORDINANCE NO.(0(0 7-St) AN ORDINANCE amending Sections 2 and 9 of Ordinance No. 630-79 , creating a special construction fund entitled "1979 Block Grant Neighborhood Improvement Fund No. 333" , decreasing the appropriation for Garfield School Playground by $24 , 000 , increasing the appropriation for Riverside Neighborhood Improvements by $24 , 000 and reallocating the Lowell Neighborhood Improvements appro- priation of $100 , 000 . NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE EVERETT CITY COUNCIL THAT: Section 1: That Sections 2 and 9 of Ordinance No. 630-79 which read as follows : Section 2 : Authorization is hereby given to provide for the development of contract plans , specifi- cations and detailed cost estimates and construction required to provide the following. A. Riverside Neighborhood Improvements: 1 . Overlay Cedar, 19th to 21st, widen and install curbs both sides . (Estimated Cost: $50, 000) 2 . Replace sections of sidewalk on Chestnut between 23rd Street and Everett Avenue. (Estimated Cost: $ 8 , 422) 3. (tie) Replace sections of sidewalks on Highland between 23rd and Everett Avenue . (Estimated Cost: $12 , 797) 4 . (tie) Pave 22nd Street from Rainier to Baker. (Estimated Cost: $21 , 473) B. Port Gardner Neighborhood Improvements : 1. Complete any 1978 Port Gardner Neighborhood projects which were approved by City Council in 1978 but can- not be completed with 1978 Port Gardner Block Grant funds , up to a maximum of $10 , 000 . 2 . Two reflective tape crosswalk signs on the north sides of the 35th and Hoyt intersection and the 36th and Hoyt intersection. (Estimated Cost: $ 300) 3. Improvements on 35th from Hoyt to Rucker up to a maximum of $33, 000 in the following priority:
