1 ORDINANCE NO. 6 -79 2 AN ORDINANCE establishing the rates for water service in the City of 3 Everett and repealing Ordinance Nos. 535-78; 503-78; 485-77; 424-76 and repealing Section 2 of Ordinance No. 493-78 and Section 2 of 4 Ordinance No. 361-75. (EMC 14.16.740) 5 6 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett finds that increased water 7 service charges are necessary to support the repair, replacement and improvement of 8 the Everett Water System and to pay for increased operating costs of the system; and 9 WHEREAS, after public hearings and deliberations, the Everett City Council 10 finds that the charges herein are reasonable. 11 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: 12 Section 1: The monthly water rates and charges together with monthly 13 minimum charges, special charges and penalties prevailing throughout the water system 14 shall be as follows: 15 A.
