• <br /> Ordinance No. =-L -7 / <br /> An Ordinance amending the zoning map of the <br /> City of Everett as provided by Municipal <br /> Code, Title 19 (Ordinance 3572) <br /> WHEREAS, on June 13, 1979 the Planning Commission held a public <br /> hearing regarding rezoning of the hereinafter described property from R-1 <br /> Single-Family, Low-Density Residential to B-2, Community Shopping zone, and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of Everett, after hearing the recommenda- <br /> tion of the Planning Commission of the City of Everett, has determined that <br /> said property should be rezoned and zoned B-2, Community Shopping zone. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Everett does ordain: <br /> Section 1: That the City Council of Everett does hereby find <br /> that the zoning change hereinafter set forth is in the best <br /> interest of the City of Everett. <br /> Section 2: That the Zoning Map of the City of Everett, as <br /> established by Everett Municipal Code, Title 19 (Ordinance <br /> 3572, Section 4, as amended) is hereby amended as follows: <br /> Legal Description: All of that portion of Lot 86, <br /> Plat of Forest Park Addition, Div. A, described as <br /> follows: Beginning at the NE corner of said lot; <br /> thence South along East line thereof a distance <br /> of 123.88 feet to a point 18 feet North of the <br /> SE corner of said lot; thence West parallel with <br /> and 18 feet North of the South line of said lot <br /> a distance of 72.65 feet; thence North parallel <br /> with the East line of said lot to an intersection <br /> with the North line of said lot; thence North- <br /> easterly along said North line to the point of <br /> beginning; EXCEPT that portion lying East of a <br /> line 10 feet West of the face of the West curb <br /> pursuant to Work Order 711 as constructed in the <br /> field. <br /> Section 3: That the official map (City of Everett Planning Dept. <br /> Assessor's maps), upon passage of this Ordinance, be amended as <br /> hereinabove provided, and henceforth said property shall be used <br /> in accordance with the zone in which it is now established as <br /> provided by Everett Municipal Code (Ordinance No. 3572) as amended. <br />
