r <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 6e / 3 -79 <br /> AN ORDINANCE supplementing appropriatiorsof the <br /> budget for the City of Everett for 1979, and amending <br /> Ordinance No. 569-78 as amended by Ordinance <br /> No. (pja- 7? , and declaring an emergency to <br /> exist. <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has now appropriated certain <br /> local , state and federal funds to augment previously approved <br /> programs within the 1979 budget; and <br /> WHEREAS , the source and application of funds have been <br /> identified; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Everett does ordain that the <br /> following amendments shall be made to the 1979 budget: <br /> Section 1 : That the sum of $107 , 502 . 00 be appropriated in <br /> the following manner: <br /> a. Appropriation, Fund 425 - Transit <br /> 1) Program 112 - Provide Transportation Services <br /> Original appropriation, Ord. 569-78 $1 , 227 . 248 . 00 <br /> Amended by this appropriation 107 , 502 . 00 <br /> New Program Total $1, 334 , 750 . 00 <br /> b. Source of Funds - Fund 425 - Transit: <br /> Cash on Hand <br /> c. Purpose - <br /> 1) To provide funds for additional $ 66 , 500 . 00 <br /> services to the elderly and <br /> handicapped <br /> 2) To budget for estimated revenue 41, 002 . 00 <br /> in excess of appropriated expense <br /> to be carried forward to 1980 <br /> $ 107 , 502 . 00 <br /> Section 2 : That the sum of $41, 051. 70 be appropriated in the <br /> following manner: <br />
