"Community garden" means a site where food, ornamental crops,or trees are grown for small-scale
<br /> cultivation,generally to residents of apartments and other dwelling types without private gardens.
<br /> "Community services" means a use operated by a public agency, nonprofit, or other organizations of a
<br /> charitable nature generally providing a service to people of the community. Generally,they provide the
<br /> service on the site or have employees at the site on a regular basis.The service is ongoing, not just for
<br /> special events. Examples include drug and alcohol centers, social service facilities, soup kitchens,food
<br /> banks, and surplus food distribution centers.
<br /> "Convention center" means a large civic building or group of buildings designed for conventions,
<br /> industrial shows, and the like, having large exhibit areas and often including conference rooms, hotel
<br /> accommodations, restaurants, and other facilities.
<br /> "Dormitory" means a building with sleeping accommodations,without in-room cooking facilities, for
<br /> residents affiliated with an educational, religious, or other institution.
<br /> "Dwelling unit, micro-housing" or"small efficiency dwelling unit" means a single, independent,
<br /> residential dwelling unit consisting of one habitable room (excluding kitchen, bath, closets, storage
<br /> areas, and built-ins).These units have a living room floor area 220 square feet or less, or a total gross
<br /> unit size 320 square feet or less.
<br /> "Drive-through", drive-up or drive-in service means a type of service provided by a business that allows
<br /> customers to purchase products,food, beverage or services without leaving their cars.
<br /> "Enhanced service facility" means a facility that provides treatment and services to persons for whom
<br /> acute inpatient treatment is not medically necessary and who have been determined by Washington
<br /> State to be inappropriate for placement in other licensed facilities due to the complex needs that result
<br /> in behavioral and security issues. RCW 70.97.010
<br /> "Entertainment and recreation" means an entertainment or recreation facility under private ownership
<br /> and operated by a for-profit or nonprofit organization, and providing one or more of the following types
<br /> of entertainment activities: cinemas, billiard parlors,teen clubs, nightclubs, coin-operated arcades,
<br /> bowling alleys, ice skating and roller skating; one or more of the following types of recreation facilities:
<br /> fitness center, indoor gymnasium, spa or health club including, tennis, handball, golf, squash,volleyball,
<br /> racquetball, badminton, skate park and swimming; or commercial outdoor recreation, including golf
<br /> courses, archery range,or similar use. The use does not include adult use business, adult retail or adult
<br /> entertainment as defined in this title.
<br /> "Family home (day care and adult)"—please see definition of"adult family home" and "day care, family
<br /> home".
<br /> "Farming" or"farm use" means the utilization of land, including buildings customarily provided in
<br /> conjunction with a farm use, for the purpose of generating income by raising, harvesting or selling crops,
<br /> or for the feeding, breeding, management and sale of, or the product of, livestock, poultry, fur-bearing
<br /> animals, or honeybees, or for dairying and the sale of dairy products, or for any other agricultural or
<br /> horticultural use, animal husbandry,growing Christmas trees, timber agricultural or any combination
<br /> thereof, including the preparation or processing and storage of products raised on such land for human
