A. Pathways Through Parking Areas. The intent of this provision is to provide safe and convenient
<br /> pedestrian paths from the street sidewalk through parking areas to building entries in order to
<br /> pedestrian circulation system that integrates with parking and serves as access to nearby businesses.
<br /> 1. Developments must provide specially marked or paved walkways through parking areas. Generally,
<br /> walkways should be provided every four rows and a maximum distance of one hundred eighty feet shall
<br /> be maintained between paths. Where possible, align the pathways to connect with major building
<br /> entries or other sidewalks, pathways, and destinations.

<br /> A . Parking Area Landscaping. The intent of this provision is to reduce the visual presence of parking
<br /> on the [-land MUO zone streetscapes and adjacent development, increase the visual quality of the E-1
<br /> and MUO zone, increase tree canopy cover for environmental and aesthetic benefits, and improve water
<br /> quality and improve storm water management.
