ORDINANCE NO .6-9...2-79' <br /> An Ordinance amending the zoning map of the City <br /> of Everett as provided by Municipal Code, Title 19 <br /> (Ordinance 3572) <br /> WHEREAS, on March 7, 1979 the planning Commission held a Public <br /> Hearing regarding rezoning of the hereinafter described property from R-1 <br /> Single-Family Low-Density Residential to C-1 General Commercial Zone. <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of Everett, after hearing the recommenda- <br /> tions of the Planning Commission of the City of Everett, has determined <br /> that said property should be rezoned and zoned C-1 General Commercial. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Everett does ordain: <br /> Section 1: That the City Council of Everett does hereby <br /> find that the zoning change hereinafter set forth is in <br /> the best interest of the City of Everett. <br /> Section 2: That the Zoning Map of the City of Everett, as <br /> established by Everett Municipal Code, Title 19 (Ordinance 3572, <br /> Section 4, as amended) is hereby amended as follows: <br /> All that portion of the East half of Government Lot 4, Section 7, Township 28 <br /> North, Range 5 East, W.M. , described as follows: Commencing at the South- <br /> west corner of the Southwest quarter of said Section 7; thence North along the <br /> West line of said Section 7, for a distance of 30.00 feet to the North <br /> boundary line of Beverly Park-Mukilteo Road, as laid out and constructed; <br /> thence Easterly along the North line of said road for a distance of 773.25 feet <br /> to the True Point of Beginning; thence Northerly and parallel with the <br /> West line of said section for a distance of 385.05 feet; thence Easterly <br /> parallel with the South line of section for a distance of 123.41 feet; thence <br /> Southerly and parallel with the West line of said section 7 to the North line <br /> of said Beverly Park-Mukilteo Road; thence Westerly and following the <br /> Northerly line of said Beverly Park-Mukilteo Road to the True Point of <br /> Beginning. Situated in Snohomish County, Washington. <br /> EXCEPT any portion lying Northerly of the Southerly Margin of State <br /> Road 526. <br /> SUBJECT TO Water line Easement filed under Auditor's File Number 2029737, <br /> Records of Snohomish County, State of Washington. <br /> Section 3: That the official map shown upon passage of <br /> this Ordinance be amended by the City Clerk as hereinabove <br /> provided and henceforth said property shall be used in <br /> accordance with the zone in which the same is now established <br /> as provided by Everett Municipal Code (Ordinance No. 3572) <br /> as amended. <br />
