• <br /> September 19, 2018 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 <br /> p.m., September 19, 2018, in the City Council Chambers of the William E. <br /> Moore Historic City Hall, Council President Roberts presiding. Upon roll call, <br /> it was found that Mayor Franklin and Council Members Roberts, Moore, <br /> Murphy, McNeal, Stonecipher, and Tuohy were present. Council Member <br /> Bader was excused. <br /> Council Member Moore led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the September 12, 2018, City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed. Council Members Moore, Murphy, and Roberts <br /> abstained from the vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Franklin provided opening comments regarding the 2019 proposed <br /> budget. <br /> • <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Moore thanked the Mayor for her update on the budget. <br /> He also reported on his attendance at the Delta Neighborhood meeting <br /> Tuesday evening. <br /> Council Member McNeal stated she attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony <br /> of the first electric bus on Monday. She also attended the International Gang <br /> Awareness Day event at Explorer Middle School on Monday evening. She <br /> reported on the Senior Center Advisory Board meeting held Tuesday. <br /> Council Member Tuohy attended the Library Board meeting on Tuesday <br /> and stated the South Branch Library expansion closure is scheduled for <br /> January. <br /> Council Member Murphy stated he attended the Seattle Children's North <br /> Clinic Community Open House on Saturday. <br /> • <br /> 299 <br />
