• <br /> ORDINANCE NO• 513-7' <br /> AN ORDINANCE creating a special construction fund entitled <br /> Central Business District (CBD) Signalization and Street <br /> Lighting, California Street Et Al; authorizing the construction <br /> of ornamental street lighting systems on Grand Avenue between <br /> Pacific Avenue and Everett Avenue, California Street between <br /> Norton Avenue and Broadway, Oakes Street between Wall Street <br /> and Everett Avenue, and Lombard Street between Pacific Avenue <br /> and Everett Avenue; authorizing the reconstruction of traffic <br /> signal systems at the intersection of Wall Street/Hoyt Avenue, <br /> Hoyt Avenue/California Street, Wetmore Avenue/California Street, <br /> Rockefeller Avenue/California Street. <br /> WHEREAS, the Everett City Council did in December 1971 and July 1974, <br /> endorse the program for upgrading the street lighting and traffic signals <br /> in the Central Business District otherwise known as the CBD Signalization <br /> and Lighting Program; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN THAT: <br /> Section 1: A special construction fund is hereby established as Fund <br /> No. 322 CBD Signalization and Street Lighting, California <br /> Street, Et Al, for the design, construction and associated <br /> activities required to construct the improvements defined <br /> in the following sections. <br /> Section 2: Authorization is given to provide for the construction of <br /> ornamental street lighting systems on Grand Avenue between <br /> Pacific Avenue and Everett Avenue, California Street between <br /> Norton Avenue and Broadway, Oakes Street between Wall Street <br /> and Everett Avenue, and Lombard Street between Pacific Avenue <br /> and Everett Avenue. <br /> Section 3: Authorization is given to provide for the reconstruction of <br /> traffic signal systems at the intersections of California/ <br /> Hoyt, Wall/Hoyt, California/Wetmore, and Rockefeller Avenue/ <br /> California Street. <br /> Section 4: Authorization is given to provide for the construction of a <br /> new computerized master controller. <br /> Section 5: The total programmed cost of the improvements herein authorized <br /> is $885,000 which shall include all cost of the design, plan <br /> and specifications preparation, construction and associated costs. <br /> Section 6: The City Engineer of the City of Everett under the administration <br /> of the Mayor is hereby given the responsibility of providing for <br /> the construction of the improvements as defined herein. <br /> Section 7: The sum of $885,000 be appropriated for the purposes herein <br /> specified in the following manner: <br /> a. Fund 322 - CBD Signalization and Lighting, <br /> California Street Et Al <br /> 1. Program 710 - CBD Signalization and Lighting, <br /> California Street Et Al <br />
