• • 1 ORDINANCE NO. w - AN ORDINANCE annexing certain property to the City of Everett. WHEREAS, pursuant to RCW 35.13.130, a petition was presented to the City Council of the City of Everett proposing the annexation of certain property; and WHEREAS, the petition which was filed pursuant to RCW 35.13.130 was signed by owners of not less than seventy-five percent in value according to the assessed valuation for general taxes of the property proposed to be annexed; and WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Everett, a municipal corporation did fix the 25th day of October, 1978, for hearing upon said petition, and cause notice of hearing to be published in one issue of the Everett Daily Herald, a newspaper of general circulation in the City, and caused said notice also to be posted in three places within the territory proposed for annexation, which notice as published and as posted specified the time and place of hearing and invited interested persons to appear and voice approval or disapproval of the annexation; and WHEREAS, following the hearing, the Council of the City of Everett, a municipal corporation, have determined to annex all of the property described in the petition as hereinafter set forth; WHEREAS, the land area specified in said petition is less than ten (10) acres and the total assessed value of all of such property is less than $800,000; and WHEREAS, the Snohomish County Boundary Review Board did, at their December 12, 1978. meeting, waive jurisdiction in this matter; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That the property hereinafter described be, and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Everett: That portion of the Southwest One-Quarter (SW1/4) of the Northwest One-Quarter (NW1/4) of the Southwest One-Quarter (SW1/4) of Section 17, Township 28, North, Range 5 East W.M. more particularly described as follows:
