ORDINANCE NO 5i 1- 7P An Ordinance amending the Zoning Map of the City of Everett, as provided by Everett Municipal Code, Title 19, (Ordinance 3502) 7 WHEREAS, on November 1, 1978, the Planning Commission held a public hearing regarding rezoning of the hereinafter described property from R-1 Single-Family Low-Density to R-S Single-Family Suburban Residential and to Agricultural Uses. WHEREAS, the City Council of Everett after hearing the recommenda- tions of the Planning Commission of the City of Everett has determined that said property should be rezoned and zoned R-S Single-Family Suburban Residential and A-1 Agricultural Use NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Everett does ordain: Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Everett does hereby find that the zoning change hereinafter set forth is in the best interest of the City of Everett. Section 2: That the Zoning Map of the City of Everett, as established by Everett Municipal Code Title 19 (Ordinance 3572, Section 4, and amended) is hereby amended as follows: Parcel A. Excluded from rezone to remain R-1 Beginning at southwest corner 2nd and Franklin Street (Spring St) true point of beginning Smith First Addition, to the town of Lowell; thence southerly along the west margin of 2nd Street for 250 feet more or less; thence angle right for 292 feet more or less; thence angle right for 250 feet to south margin of Franklin Street (Spring Street) ; thence angle right for 292 feet more or less to true point of beginning. Parcel B. R-1 to R-S That portion of the east 1/2 of Section 5, Township 28 N. , Range 5 E. , W.M. , described as follows: Beginning at a point on the south boundary of Franklin (Spring) Street, said point being 140 feet westerly from Larimer Road (also known as Lowell-Larimer Road and as South 2nd Avenue) as measured along the south boundary of said Franklin Street. -2
